There are expansive luxury sandy beaches (East Runton beach is only 300 metres away) with award-winning blue flag beaches at Cromer, West Runton and Sheringham. The villages of Overstrand and Mundesley lie to the east, with further gorgeous seaside beaches.

The 165 acre Pretty Corner Woods, located near Sheringham, are simply a must, for dogs and their owners, just let your selves go! There are further spectacular woodland and coastal walking, riding and bird watching opportunities (including Peddars Way) within a short distance from Stable Cottage plus the footpath to Incleborough Hill, with its breathtaking coastal views, is just across the common.
